FDA Releases Data Accessibility Report

The Food and Drug Administration released eight new draft proposals focused on making enforcement data more accessible and user-friendly as part of an ongoing effort to increase transparency.

The report, “Food and Drug Administration Transparency Initiative: Draft Proposals for Public Comment to Increase Transparency By Promoting Greater Access to the Agency’s Compliance and Enforcement Data,” was developed after FDA met with Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Labor officials who have well-regarded data enforcement websites.

The public is invited to comment on the FDA’s porposals and to review the agency’s progress in implementing other action items and draft proposals related to the Transparency Initiative here.
