
Boeing named retired Navy Rear Admiral Ray Spicer as executive vice president of strategy and business development for Boeing Kestrel – a unit of Boeing Defense, Space & Security.
Spicer will focus on the development and introduction of expanded technology and service capabilities that build on Boeing Kestrel’s real-time, collaborative information-sharing, analysis and decision-making offerings.

Spicer’s leadership assignments with the Navy include commander, Carrier Strike Group Twelve, supporting combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan; assistant deputy chief of Naval Operations for Operations, Plans and Strategy; and deputy assistant to the president and director, White House Military Office.
