Valerie Jarrett is the latest White House staffer to join Twitter.
Jarrett, a senior advisor and assistant to President Obama for Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs, signed up for the social networking services Monday morning and can be followed @vj44.

Jarrett had more than 2,000 followers in a little more than two hours with her first tweet discussing the pay disparity between men and women in the workforce.
