A judge ruled against a watchdog group claiming the Trump administration had violated the Presidential Records Act by using encrypted messaging apps.

Security researchers at Seattle-based IOActive found multiple critical vulnerabilities in Confide after it underwent a security audit for the first time in February.

Republicans in D.C., including members of the Trump administration, are now using Confide, an encrypted messaging app that quickly deletes old chats.
