ODNI seeks senior IT architect

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence is looking for an IT Senior architect to work in the chief information officer’s office. The job pays between $123,758 and $155,500 and will accept applications until filled.

Serve as the IC CIO Senior Architect with responsibility for the development and maintenance of the IC Enterprise Architecture and the IC Core Reference Architecture Segments; provide direction and guidance and define the IC’s Enterprise Architecture to effectively support the ODNI National Intelligence Strategy.

In conjunction with other enterprise architects from across the IC, update the Joint Architecture Reference Model (JARM), the Enterprise Competency Model, the Enterprise Services List, and the Technical Services Taxonomy on a routine basis.

Assess the compliance of IC ITE programs with the IC Enterprise Architecture and the IC Core Reference Architecture segments, and provide support and assistance as needed.

Lead the creation and evolution of the enterprise architecture program to include the coordination of mission, business, information, technical and solution architectures.

Provide expert architectural guidance to and support for security and data architectures to the rest of the IC CIO.

Serve as the primary point of contact between the IC CIO and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for Federal Enterprise Architecture and IC Enterprise Architecture issues, and represent the IC CIO on OMB’s Chief Architect Forum.

Analyze the OMB Exhibit 53s, 300s, and any other reporting instruments against the JARM components to help determine gaps, redundancies, areas of efficiencies, and other extractible information about the enterprise that would help drive leadership decisions and support IC CIO portfolio management efforts.

Oversee the work of team members; monitor work activities to ensure counterintelligence (CI) and security policies and procedures are followed; provide help or assistance to team members or others when needed; communicate needs and requirements to project team members.
