Former GSA CIO, industry exec Casey Coleman lands at Salesforce

Casey Coleman, a former CIO at the General Services Administration, has joined Salesforce.
Coleman will join the cloud computing company as senior vice president for industries, focused on government, a spokesperson told FedScoop.
In that role, Coleman will lead Salesforce’s global government-focused business, developing the firm’s “go-to-market strategies” for the public sector.
Most recently group vice president for civilian agencies at Unisys, Coleman spent more than a decade at the General Services Administration in several roles, including CTO, CIO of the Federal Acquisition Service and nearly eight years as agency CIO. She also lent a hand earlier this year on the GSA landing team during President Donald Trump’s transition into office.
Coleman was honored on FedScoop’s 2017 Top Women in Tech list.
